Background	Insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF-2) is one of three protein hormones that share structural similarity to insulin. This cytokine is produced in a human cell expression system with serum-free, chemically defined media. Glycosylation contributes to stability in cell growth media and other applications. Salmo/Trout (Oncorhynchus sp. & Salmo sp.) Insulin-like Growth Factor-II (Salmon/Trout IGF-II) is a 7 amino acid polypeptide. Salmon/Trout IGF-II can be used for a variety of in vivo and in vitro applications.
