Product Description	The Human CD52 Protein(KMP3185) is produced in HEK293 Cells. The target gene encoding the human CD52 (NP_001794.2) (Met1-Ser36) is expressed with a C-terminal Fc region of human IgG1 tag followed by an Avi tag. The expressed protein is biotinylated in vivo by the Biotin-Protein ligase (BirA enzyme) which is co-expressed.

Background	CD52 / CDW52 is a small glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchored glycoprotein. It has a mature peptide comprising only 12 amino acids and is abundantly expressed on human lymphocytes. From the clinical point of view this protein is an important target for therapeutic interventions aimed at leukocyte depletion in hematological malignancies and post-transplant immunosuppression. CD52 / CDW52 may play a role in carrying and orienting carbohydrate. It is an unusually good target for complement-mediated cell lysis.
Storage Condition	Aliquot and store at -20℃ to -80℃. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
